Wood Cab Kit for Bachmann 2-8-0 Consolidation Locomotive
This cab kit is specially designed for the Bachmann outside-frame 2-8-0 locomotive, but will also work well for other loco projects. It is based on Baldwin works drawings for this locomotive type, builders photos, and prototype service photos. This cab type was used on many different classes of 2-8-0s, both narrow and standard gauge. It is a roomy cab suitable for any medium-sized locomotive from 1900 onward.

The dimensions and style match those of the Consolidation's original cab. Assembly of the cab requires only glue and basic tools; builder must supply small amounts of 1/4" basswood and brass wire. The kit comes with detailed instructions (click on this link to read them online).
