Forney 0-4-4 Conversion Kit for Accucraft's Ruby
This kit converts your Accucraft Ruby to an 0-4-4 "Forney" type locomotive. The Ruby follows the design of a typical small Baldwin engine usually used in switching or plantation service. Baldwin also made 0-4-4 and 2-4-4 locomotives of the "Forney" type in similar sizes. These were characterized by a rear frame extension, supported by a truck, carrying a fuel and water bunker instead of a separate tender. By extending the frame and adding a rear truck and bunker, your Ruby can be transformed into a Forney with ease.
The kit's specifications:
Tools required:
Note: Locomotive not included. You must have an Accucraft 0-4-0 (or similar) model locomotive on which to apply this kit.
