About the kit

Model Tech Studios has released in 2002 a resin kit of this railroad station. The kit has a footprint of 17'' by 10.5''.

The original retail price was 250 $. The item number was S-0024. It was sold out in less then a year.

The complete kit came packed in a plain cardboard box and hasn't any any labels on it. The box measures 46.5 x 33.8 x 26 cm (l/w/h). All the parts were put in the box with just a handful of shipping peanuts and bubble wrapping. They were moving kinda loose in the box. That was not so great. I was however lucky and only a few tiny spots from the edge of the base who is made out of plaster got damaged during shipping.
The kit consist of the following parts :
  • 9 sets of resin parts laying on cardboard and wrapped in plastic
  • 2 sets of resin parts wrapped in plastic
  • 1 baseplate made of plaster and laying on a cardboard and wrapped in plastic
  • 1 plastic bag with wooden profiles
  • 1 sheet of laser cut windows wrapped in plastic between two layers of cardboard
  • 1 sheet for the glazing (15.8 x 15.8 cm)
  • 1 small sheet with signs who are printed on regular paper
